Throughout my career, I have likely seen everything that can happen to a military or civilian career. If you’ve been discriminated against or just mistreated by your supervisors and commanders, you need a strong advocate to help protect your rights. Civilian disciplinary actions often are badly mishandled. Commanders have very little experience and receive precious little training on handling misconduct or alleged poor performance by civilians.
